Marisa Rua is a co-founder of Best Era. She leads Para Era, Best Era’s paralegal training program.

Marisa spent ten years as a paralegal, two of them at Connecticut Trial Firm, a three-time Inc. 5000 firm. She knows the job from the inside: the intake calls, the deadlines, and the files that keep a case moving.

That is why paralegals trust her. Today she trains paralegal teams at law firms across the country, one on one and in groups. Her training is practical. It is built on what the work actually looks like, and it leaves firms with teams that are confident, consistent, and ready to use the tools changing legal work, including AI.

Marisa believes great paralegals are the backbone of every great law firm, and that they deserve training built for them.

Outside of work, you will find her with a notebook in hand, Wu-Tang Clan or Pantera playing, and her dog, Franklin, close by.
